I am thrilled to announce that my daughter, Molly Katherine, was born on September 4th, 2005. We are all happy and healthy and doing well. I am already back into bear making, and had a very successful show on Saturday, October 8. It was a last minute decision to participate, so I apologize for not letting you know ahead of time. At this time, I don't have any more shows scheduled for 2005. However, I do have some new creations this month, and I also now have a needle-felting kit available for order. The kit is a basic beginner kit, and contains everything you need to get started - core wool, lots of coloured bits of roving, 2 felting needles, and a foam block. The kits are $20.00, and can ordered through my order page.

The holiday season is fast approaching, and I am hoping to create a few special pieces that will be available on my website. However, if you want to order a special custom piece, please order soon, as I will be taking orders on a first come, first serve basis.

SarBears has just undergone a website transformation, thanks to the creative powers at Mouth Media. I hope you enjoy the new and improved site.

I have many new bears available on my site, so please browse around. I will be taking a few months off bear making this fall to welcome the arrival of my second child, who is due the middle of September. I will be accepting orders at that time, but there may be up to a three month wait for a customized bear.

New for 2005 are my hand-painted sparkling glass eyes, available in endless colours, and brightly coloured ultrasuede to give your bear a unique look, so if you’re a bear maker of any level, please be sure to check out my Supplies section.

Sarbears is always coming up with new designs, so check back often for the latest bears.

In 2006, I will be offering teddy workshops and classes. If interested, please send me an email so I can put you on the waiting list. Also, watch for the first available SarBear patterns.

I am available to do commissioned works, but require 6 months notice to complete a large scale project, so if interested, please contact me early to avoid disappointment.
