Whimsical style bears are just that
- fun, different and anything but
ordinary. They often brightly
coloured, with non-traditional
proportions. I hand dye many of the
fabrics I use for creating whimsical
bears, adding an extra-special
touch. These creations are are so
much fun to make because basically
there are no rules to designing
them, and the possibilities are
endless. |

Whimsical (from top to bottom)
Griffin, Poppy, Sadie
The Toester series is a whimiscal
group of bears. They feature large
brightly coloured ultrasude toes and
thumbs. They are a bent leg design,
so do not stand. They are 10 inches
long. They are stuffed with
polyester fibrefill, and fully
cotter-pin jointed. Some feature
hand-painted sparkling eyes, and
multicoloured noses. I am happy to
create a one-of-a-kind "Toester"
bear for you.
