Japanese style bears, also referred
to anime-style bears, are inspired
by Japanese anime cartoons. They
feature large heads (also sometimes
called "big-headed bears"), large
eyes, usually lower on the face,
small bodies and small limbs. Every
artist has their own take on these,
so the range of Japanese style bears
in almost infinite. SarBears has
three different series of Japanese
style bears available for order.
Each bear in any series is
one-of-a-kind, but all have the same
basic pattern. |

Waki Series (from top to bottom)
Column 1: Mocho, Bambu, Poki,

Column 2: Waki, Zola
The Waki Series bears all feature
large round hears and big eyes. The
heads are cotterpin jointed, and the
limbs are string jointed. They
measure approximately 3 1/2 tall,

The Flower Series are a truly
adorable line of "big headed" bears.
They measure approximately 6 inches,
sitting. The flower series have very
large heads, with needle felted
muzzles. Their limbs all feature
tiny round felt paw pads. Please

sweet little bears featuring a round
head, with inset muzzle, small body
