Whimsical style bears are just that
- fun, different and anything but
ordinary. They often brightly
coloured, with non-traditional
proportions. I hand dye many of the
fabrics I use for creating whimsical
bears, adding an extra-special
touch. These creations are are so
much fun to make because basically
there are no rules to designing
them, and the possibilities are
endless. |

Ziggy
Description: Ziggy is a truly unique
and whimsical little guy sure to
steal
your heart. He is created from long
pile mohair with cotton strings. His
paw
pads and ears are made from orange
ultrasuede, and his feet have been
needle-sculpted to create his
adorable toes. His eyes are hand
painted
sparkling robin's egg blue, and his
nose has been stitched from hand
dyed
silk floss. Ziggy stands 7 inches
tall, and is fully cotter pin
jointed, so
you can pose him any way you like.

Harvey
Description: Harvey is a
one-of-a-kind bear created from rust
tipped mohair. He has an inset
ultrasuede face that has been
extensively needle sculpted and
shaded. His paw pads are also
ultrasuede with extensive detailing.
His neck is double-jointed for extra
posing possibilities. His feet are
weighted with steel shot so Harvey
can stand on his own. Harvey comes
to you wearing a simple bell on a
leather cord around his neck. Harvey
is fully cotter-pin jointed, and
stands 8 inches tall.
